Sherlock Holmes Parody
These stories are original parodies of the adventures of Sherlock Holmes, the internationally renowned fictional detective created by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle during the late 19th Century.

What sets them apart from other parodies of this type is that they are set in the fictional world of 'Middle-earth' created by J R R Tolkien. In talking liberties with the letter of the writings of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle and Professor Tolkien, we have nevertheless tried to remain faithful to the spirit of their stories. For this reason, some of these adventures can be read as possible sequels to the events described in The Lord of the Rings - albeit rather strange and disturbing ones!

All the stories in this section are written by Mercedes Dannenberg, Derek Tree, Miranda Givings and several other contributors who are too shy (or too sensible) to be identified.
